So this is kind of fun.

If you've been here before today, you'll see that I've made some changes to the layout. I got rid of the "In the News" categories on my main blog and have setup a new blog for news items, which is now linked into a Sideblog on the left hand side of this page. I think it is a little cleaner this way, and besides, learning how to make these modifications has been rather enjoyable.
I've used a couple of resources to help me understand how to make these changes and one of these resources has just blown me away. For anyone who is using MoveableType as their blog software, I can't recommend strongly enough that you visit Elise Bauer's awesome Learning Moveable Type blog!
This site will more than likely change quite a bit over the next couple of weeks as I learn more about what I can do with the MoveableType software. As with any learning process, you can be sure that I'll make mistakes from time to time, so don't be surprised if you visit here and find something broken. :-)
